There is no easy answer for this. My suggestion would be to ask for replacement of the tree plus a couple of years production to compensate for the new one getting established and into production. From what I can find, the average production for a Carmine Jewel shrub is roughly 25 pounds per plant. Assuming you would have to buy cherries for a couple of years, they sell for anywhere from $1.25 to $4.00 per pound depending on the time of season, the market, and the year. Hope this helps.
