the right arborvitae

i like to grow a green fence, i live in boston where the snow can be wet and heavy, is there a better specie of arborvitae conducive for this winter ??

i have a lot of sun and water soaking is available.

All arborvitae here in the mid-west have multiply branches and stems which in heavy snow loads open up. Eastern arborvitae tends to have a single trunk, but has also been known to have multiple stems. Choosing your plants carefully might eliminate that concern. If heights are not important, concern some of the shorter, slower growing dwarf forms.
