Dear Sirs,/Ladies, I have something killing my hedge. Each day there is more loss of leaves and bare spots. Don't know what to do could it be deer?

We'll need a little more information before any assessment could be made. For example, type of hedge, age, is the entire planting or just certain portions? Any other symptoms on the leaves? The description provided is too vague to make any kind of diagnosis.

thanks for sending a picture off forum. Your hedge is Boxwood. While I do not know the extent of a disease called Boxwood blight in Florida, that is what I suspect you have as Florida does not experience extremes in winter temperatures that mi8ght might have caused dieback The only way to confirm this is to contact your local Extension office about having an actively dying sample submitted for examination and culturing to determine the exact cause. The hedge also looks fairly mature and that cold be a a factor in this situation.
