Deer eating Arborvitees

This winter deer feasted on my arborvitae trees. I have since blocked off their entrance. The trees are bare up to 5 feet high. Is there any thing I can do to expediate the growth of these trees? Thank you!

Arborvitae do have the ability to generate new buds as long as the damage is not severe. You will know how much damage as soon as the evergreens begin to grow. You may see some green to the tips and then soon after (days/weeks) die back to healthy tissue. All you can do is prune away the dead and wait to see how much and where regrowth occurs. Feeding and watering will help promote recovery.
