I'm thinking about planting a weeping blue atlas cedar, I live in the southern Tip of Utah zone 8 is the middle of April a good time to plant this tree?

Thank you,

Maureen

As a general rule, planting in the spring allows an entire growing season for a plant to begin to establish a root system having been transplanted. Depending on the size of your allas cedar, plan on taking care of the plant with proper watering and winter protection for at least 2-3 years.
