Some browning could be normal as part of the stress caused by planting, weather conditions at planting time, how they were planted, and health of the plant to begin with. If it is slight browning I wouldn't be too concerned. If large portions or entire sides are browning, then this could potentially be serious. I don't know what the weather conditions have been/are in Georgia. Hopefully you watered the root systems after planting. Similarly, excess water, especially if it settles in the planting site is serious as evergreens don't like wet feet. Regardless, you should explore the soil area to determine moisture content and proceed from there. Whether the plants were balled-and-burlapped or container-grown, minimal disruption to the roots is essential. If you've had hot dry winds, some of the browning could be due to desiccation.
