difference between fall and spring mums

I bought what the store called "spring mums" i got them early may and I'm wanting to know what the difference is between the spring mum and the fall mum? What is the technical term for spring mum and fall mum? Thank you

There is no difference between spring mums and fall mums, unless you bought something that look similar to mums but are actually another genus. All of them are Chrysanthemum. Greenhouses can 'trick' mums to bloom by manipulating the amount of light they get to force them into bloom. Spring planted mums tend to establish better.
