I have an evergreen bush that is turning brown in spots and it is slowly getting worse. It started last year and I cut out the brown patch. This year it started with a few more patches in the spring and now the patches are getting bigger and spreading. Do you know if I can do anything to save my evergreen? It is a bluish green evergreen but I have forgotten the name of it. It is conical in shape.

In an off line thread, I have learned that the evergreen as since been removed. If the problem was specific to that plant, replacement should not be an issue.
