I planted 7, 5 foot emerald green cedar trees on a decline, I believe I over watered as I was running a soak-er hose for an hour a day for a good 2 1/2 weeks after planting, the bottom two trees are getting very brown on the outside edges I did test the bark and it is still green is there anything I can do to revive the trees? I have cut way back on the watering and using a watering can how. The inside of the trees are pretty much still green, I was wondering if maybe I should use miracle grow once a week on them to help?

Thank You

the roots and soil will have to recover if overwatered. If the roots have rotted, the plant will have to generate new ones over time. Not a lot you can do to change the drainage. If you fear the soil is overly saturated you could dig a small hole next to the root ball and see if it collects free water. If so, use any means at your disposal to remove the excess water. this will allow soil oxygen to once again occupy space in the soil profile.
