We have a holly tree that has not been doing well since last year when we were hit with the ploar vortex. Since then, the tree only grows a small amount of leaves in clusters and someo of the tree brances are barre, although green. We have used holly tone regulary, but still cannot get it to become more full like in prevous years. Any suggestions?

I suspect that the holly suffered trunk and branch damage and the plants ability to move water and minerals upwards has been impacted. If you see any sprouting from the base of the plant, encourage this growth to grow and replace the already dead and damaged branches. the plant could have also suffered some root system damage too, so recovery will take several seasons.
