The honeydew that you say is from aphids/bugs is their poo? It has fallen on my house plants that I bring out in the summer how do I get it off the leaves?

our outside plants too are a mess, my Gerraineum leaves are a mess

Thank you

the "Honey Dew" is primarily the sap from the host plant and can be rinsed off with water. Our weather has really promoted aphids and scale insects this summer, with lots of dripping on furniture, plants, cars, etc.
