I live in Knoxville, TN and I am interested in getting a Sago Palm and need to know do I have to bring the Palm inside during the winter months or will it live out side during that time. My house stays dark during the day and my garage is also dark.

there are Sago Palms that are hardier than others and should be the ones you consider. if you live in town, you may be a zone warmer than the USDA Map indicates as 6b I believe. Knoxville could be anywhere between 5 and 5 below in the winter. You should contact your local Extension office or an arboretum for more focus information and a listing of possible hardy Sgo Palms
