curled leaves

My Ms. Kim lilac bush that I planted in June, the leaves are curling up, they are still green though. Am I not watering enough or overwatering?

Yes, it is possible that the shrub needs a bit more water than mother nature and you are providing. Under watering and Over watering can have the same symptoms, so be sure the soil is actually dry and not overly wet before you water any more. If from a container, all the roots are within the diameter of the pot so be sure to check soil moisture near the stems as they leave the soil.
