Is it possible for a emerald green arborvitae that is still wrapped in burlap that is brown down one side of the tree to survive once its planted? If so will the brown side rejuvenate and regrow?

Hello: If you are saying the evergreen remains balled and burlapped with a browned side, I would question its recovery. If you scrap the main trunk that has the brown needles, the tissue beneath should be a deep green and moist looking to even begin to have a chance. A light dry green indicates it is continuing to fail. Being dug up waiting to be transplanted gives it even a lessor chance of recovery
