New Lawn Seeds

Hi. I am planting a new lawn in September. I am considering a tall fescue grass seed called Defiance XRE BLUE. What is your opinion on this type of seed for the Maryland area. I haven't had much luck with Scotts or Pennington seeds.

I am not familiar with the grass you are considering. If it is a turf type tall fescue you should be pleased with its appearance as it resembles bluegrass pretty well. It is often sown with a bluegrass. If this is the more traditional Tall Fescue, it will very coarse grow taller and look bunchy in the lawn if mixed with a bluegrass.
