our daffodils were cut back after blooming this spring- some still had flowers on them will they blook next spring?

Ideally the foliage should be left until it dies down and collapses naturally. If the foliage was cut back to the soil line, there was no way to resupply the bulb with energy to produce blooms and foliage. If some foliage was left the amount of energy stored is directly proportional to the foliage remaining and to next years bloom show. Leave all the foliage, get the best results.
