Can I take a cutting from a dogwood and root it out?

Rooting a cutting from shrubs is pretty common. Take cuttings before the wood hardens off. A rooting hormone will aid in the development of the callous tissue where the roots will come from. Suggest taking cuttings over a period of several weeks to ensure your success.
