Evergreens dying from inside out

I have several evergreens on my property and noticed that they are dying from the inside out, bottom to top. Even the evergreens that get plenty of sunlight. Someone mentioned they may be suffering from blight and if that's the case is there a way to stop it and save the trees that aren't too far gone? My blue spruce trees seem to be the worst. What should I look for to help diagnose?

Yes, there are several different kinds of fungal diseases that have impacted needled evergreens more so in the last several years, especially folowing long dry periods. Depending on the disease, there may be treatments. Normally this is both from the disease management side as well as the plant health side. the stronger the tree, the more it resists and has better recovery. Contact University of Wisconsin at Madison or your local Extension office to find out where to send a sample to be cultured. Only then will you be able to properly treat. Fertilization and watering during the summer months will help as well. UofI has a fact sheet on the more common needle diseases - https://uofi.app.box.com/v/plantclinicfactsheets/file/70719052769
