To Whom It May Concern:

How does one control diseases on a Colorado Blue Spruce tree? Are there spray options?

Thanks in advance for your feedback.

All the best, Anna

Spruce disease prevention includes maintaining tree health by watering during dry periods and not waiting for an official drought. Established spruce also benefit from being feed annual in the spring of the year. Any fungicide treatments can involve at least two sprays, one at budbreak and another when needles are half grown. Certain diseases also require the removal of the spent needles and the removal of the spruce cones with sprays over at least a two year period.
