We planted a linden tree abou 7 years ago. As of now, it has had not blossoms or seed pods. Explanatio6?

I would suspect that your tree is remain too young to flower and create seeds. Depending on how you got it and how it was grown, there may have been a seed set then. As a newer tree, it is concentrating on vegetative growth, both the roots and canopy building. As it matures, the flowers and then seeds will come along naturally.
