I've heard that the Extension will come out and identify tree(s) on your property and give recommendations if they believe they're diseased and if I should contact an arborist for further info. Is this true and if it is when could I schedule a time for someone to visit?

Making homeowner visits was a common practice for many years. With todays technology of camera phones, IPads and digital cameras, much more common now is sending images to an Extension office and working with Master Gardeners with the backup of a Horticulture Educator as needed. Your closest Extension office is in Champaign.

http://web.extension.illinois.edu/cfiv/ or 801 North Country Fair Drive Suite D Champaign, IL 61821 Phone: 217-333-7672 FAX: 217-333-7683 Email: uie-cfiv@illinois.edu Hours: Monday-Friday 8:00am to 4:30pm (Closed 11:30 - 12:30pm)

The office can provide you the hours Master Gardeners are available and their email address.
