What would you recommend to treat Pine needle scale on a mhugo pine?

Pine Needle Scale is treated when crawlers are active in May as bridal wreath spirea is in late bloom. Treatments can be insecticidal soap, canola oil clove oik, malathion or imidacloprid. the soaps will need re treatments as they do not last very long, about every 7 days as long as there is feedomg activity
