I have a very large tree in my yard-The roots are spreading and lifting up a patio --would like to save tree but how do I cut roots--Is there an arborist that could come to my home to inspect--------The tree is fruit bearing,i think it is blackberries

Given the tree is lifting up the patio and has fruit resembling raspberries, I suspect the tree is a mulberry. The challenge will be even if roots are cut, they remain below the patio and untill they would eventually rot (years), the patio is not likely to return to its former elevation. This will entail more that just cutting the roots to resolve the patio problem.
