First time I have planted one. I am using a whiskey barrek In with a cherry tomato plant. The tomatillo is growing bushy & flowering but no fruit. I feralize every couple of weeks.

This plant is from Mexico and needs a long growing season (often longer than what Northern Illinois gets. also It needs about 4' of space between plants for less competion from other plants. A wiskey barrel is not the best growing site for this plant. Plant in a well drained sunny location with plenty of room to growbecause these plants grow about four feet tall and is also a sprawling plant.
