should I fertilize my day lillies? will they increase in bush size next year? should I cut dried storks back in order to get new/more blossoms?

Fertilizing can sometimes improve size of plants and the fertilize can sometimes minimize or prevent flowering. use any fertilizer carefully. it is better to under fertilize or not fertilize than to over fertilize. Stella doras may benefit by cutting off old flower stalks because they do rebloom. Most other hybrid daylilies only bloom one time period per year. Large well established plants tend to produce more flower stalks which can add a few days to the flowering time.
