What is the name of the grass that pops up after a lot of rainfall. It seems to take over during the late summer. It is very green but seems to hold moisture all day long. It is really a pest. Is there a way to get rid of it? Thanks and have a blessed day.

I am not familiar with a grass that does this basedc on your limited description. Could you please send a clear colored picture of the grass?
