MY red sunset maple has been struggling for a couple of years . It's leaves have green vains but they turn a yellowish/green at the outer edges. they then start to turn rust brown and shrivel up. The tree is is about 15yrs old and 20-25ft tall. is there any thing I can do to help it improve???

Your tree has chlorosis (yellowing with green veins) which in turn makes it more prone to scorch (browning). You could do soil tests every year and treat the soil based on the test. Will have to do this for ever. Yoour tree is planted in soil that is to alkaline and there is no permenant fix for this problem unless you get rid of the tree and do NOT replace with any Acer rubrum tree- red maple including red sunset, silver maple, pin oak or any birch tree.
