I have a rasberry tree I guess was planted by the birds about 5 ft from the house. I think you told me it should be moved. Well time has passed and I didn't get it moved. Now it is to big for me to move & I don't have the money for professionals to move it. I am concerned about the foundation of the house and really, really hate to, but should I cut it down and kill it?

Plant roots do not make cracks in cement walls but if the foundation cracks (even a hair line crack) from settling or some other reason and the roots by chance find it, they will take advantage and grow into it. They can then increase the size of the crack. You will need to decide if this will happen or if it already has happened. If so - get rid of plant.
