I am back with another question about my rasberry tree that is to close to the house. Can you tell me if and how I could maybe take a cutting and root it? That way it wouldn't totally break my heart when I have to cut the tree down. Thanks again Marie

I have never seen these plants but according to our fruit specialist they are regular raspberries pruned into small looking trees. Raspberries are usually propagated by cutting suckers off as new plants. In some cases, the end of the plant is bent over in September and buried so the tip sticks out of the ground while enough of the stem is about four inches deep. Not sure you can do either with the way your plant is grown.
