I have read about and talked to the folks at Wildflower Farms about their Eco-Lawn. They say there are 10s of thousands of them installed, and provided a reference to one nearby person.

We have a 16k sq/ft lawn we need to repair after being seriously damaged in last years drought. We are considering Eco-lawn as for reseeded areas and for slit-seeding the remainder. Any comments/advice? The contents are listed below.

Eco-Lawn is comprised of the following seven fine fescue grasses: Sheeps Fescue Dawson Slender Red Fescue SR5200E Creeping Red Fescue SR 5100 Chewings Fescue Sandpiper Chewings Fescue Scaldis Hard Fescue SR 3100 Hard Fescue

If your lawn is in full sun, you should use bluegrass. Fine fescues are better for shade and where there is little foot traffic.
