I just noticed my grass has powdery mildew in rather shady locations. In the spring I used a seed for both sun & shade. Now it has started to die off. How can I get rid of the mildrew and save the lawn?

If you are watering your lawn in the heat and the grass is growing so t needs mowing, then the mowing will keep the disease reduced enough to keep grass from dying. Also try and improve air circulation to help keep humidity down. This disease likes high humidity at night. If your grass is not growing - use a fungicide that controls powdery mildew on lawns.
