does anyone know of any other kind of vine other than creeping charlie that would be growing in our lawn/grass. the leaves are narrow and spade-like.

If it gets white flowers and the leaves look more like an arrow head, you may have field bindweed. There is another vine that grows in the lawn and wraps itself around plants and it is wild morning glory. If neither of these - send me a sharp colored picture of it.
