When is the best time to trim white pines? How much should I cut off? My goal is for them to be very thick (as a barrier) and about 15' tall. Thanks

Pines are pruned in the spring as new growth is emerging. Bear in mine pruning the plants to make them denser will eventually cause your pines to look weird. Eventually they will get taller than you can keep them The bottom of the plant will look dense and restricted in width and the top will return to the more open habit typical of a white pine. You chose the wrong kind of needle evergreen for a dense screeen.
