Are there any hisbiscus plants that are indiginous to the climate of Long Island, NY. We have some hibiscus trees that we take in during the winter, but I have noticed some "wild" looking hibiscus in my travels on Long Island. Thank you.

There are out door hibiscus called Rose of Sharon. They should be hardy on Long Island since they do well in the Chicago winters.
