Last fall we bought a small farm. We have discovered 3 apple trees, 1 peach, 3 mulberry and many grape vines (growing like crazy) with small sour fruit. The care and pruning of which I need instruction on. Do you have people in the area who can come and look at the trees and advice us or can you send me some instruction booklets? Oops, we also have walnut trees. HELP!!!

Check with your local extension office to see if they have two publications left (they are out of print) Growing small fruits in the home garden and growing tree fruits in the home orchard. You can also try reaching Maurice Ogutu at 708 352 0109 - he is the vegetable/fruit extension specialist for northern Illinois. What do you need to know about walnut trees.
