Where do people in IL store canna bulbs in the winter? My house is too warm and items in my garage sometimes freeze. Would I need a special garden fridge???

You need a very cool basement, crawl space or root cellar. They need to be stored at temps lower than 50 degrees. If you nly have a basement, try a corner as far away from the furnace as possible, Place on floor in corner and lightly cover to try and trap the cooler temps of the wall. If possible - shut the heat off to that part of the basement.
