How updated are your facts. There have been documented cases of large fireant mound being found as far north as New York and Michigan. They are adapting to the weather conditions. Insects have a strange way of adapting when their environment has changed, such as,urbanization and natural causes such as floods and fires. Please check to see if your map is in need of being updated. Thank you..
