Large Wood Chuck?

We think this carcass belongs to a large wood chuck, but the size is way bigger than your website description of 20-25 inches. He measures 42" from nose to tail. He was presumably hit by a car on Leech Rd, Durand and my husband pulled him off the road 3 days ago. Five toes in front, four in back, with canine-type teeth. Is he a large wood chuck? Hopefully, my photo will upload here. If not, here's a link to one. http://www.huntkittnercrafts.com/woodchuck.html

Good morning, I could not access the website you provided. Would you e-mail me the photo?

I have a wooly animal that visits under my evergreen tree. Walks on four feet. bushy hair. Growls. Lived under the bushes outside my front stoop for awhile. Does not build burrows in the yard. I live across the road from a field and about 20' from a small creek. What would it be? My daughter has seen it @ night when she gets home from after school activities. It moves slow.

There are many animals that could fit the description you provide. Do you know what color the animal is, and an approximate size? Size of a house cat, smaller, larger?
