My guess would be that the fawn does not need any assistance. Very young deer do not move when approached. This is part of their survival mechanism. At this young age they cannot outrun a predator, so they lay still and depend on their spotted coat to camouflage themselves. The female only comes to the fawn a few times a day to nurse. You likely won't see her. She is careful not to attract attention to the fawn. I would remove the milk, water, and lettuce. And then observe the fawn from a distance.
