My family and I was removing a young fox from the road when we noticed it had an ear tag in the right ear. There was no serial number or contact number, so we were wondering why it was ear tagged and what information we need to forward to what group.

Earlier this year we had a family of foxes under our old barn and watched the cubs play as they grew.

We thought the fox in the road was one of the youngsters from our pair and so it would not be ran over any more we pulled it off the road and threw him in the ditch. That is when we noticed it had the ear tag with a number 12 on it.

We were wondering if someone needs information on this fox and who to contact to give them the information.
