Who and how would you go about letting someone (DNR) know about a Bald Eagle sighting? I know they are on the comeback in the southern part of the state and I believe there have been some sightings around Petersburg/Athens area, but this something you dont see in Mt. Auburn! Or is it that it is just not important to anyone anymore? Anyway. any help in this matter would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Kevin.

Sightings of rare or unusual wildlife are important to the IDNR. If you go to the Report Unusual Wildlife page of this website you can fill out a report about the eagle sighting. The page can be accessed at: http://web.extension.uiuc.edu/wildlife/sightings.cfm Reports get sent to IDNR wildlife biologists.
