We have 3-4 fox in our neighborhood that are not afraid of humans. A few years back, one of the fox got hit by a car and injured its front right leg. Feeling sorry for it, some neighbors began feeding it. Since then, the other foxes have joined in the fun. Now, they act more like neighborhood dogs than wild animals. One even jumped up on my dining table on the deck, while we were grilling, asking, "What's for dinner tonight???" My village won't put a note in the newsletter because it's not illegal to feed them. But I worry that my 4 year old granddaughter might face problems as she plays in the backyard. We have tons of squirrels, chipmunks and birds that I have seen the foxes catching. Could you write a reply, addressing the issue of feeding wildlife, such as fox. I will include it in a flyer that I will distribute through my neighborhood. Thanks!
