squirrels

Always had tons of squirrels living in the woods for the last ten years or more. Now, there are hardly any.

Why are they not living there anymore?

Wildlife populations are impacted by many factors: quality of habitat, development which can destroy or reduce the quality of habitat, diseases, parasites, the availability of food, and predator populations. Without more detail it is hard to say why the squirrel population in your area appears to be in decline.
