This bothers me. Luther General Hospital in Park Ridge has some ponds. The add a fence that encircles the ponds some of which will be underwater after a rain storm. The pond level goes up several feet after a storm. I thought that was not nice for the birds that will nest around the pond (ducks and geese). They have then add line from the fence to the other side crossing the pond. I assume its something to keep the birds away. I have see other bird ther heron or cranes. just need to check this

Fencing is often used to keep Canada geese from using an area. It is an acceptable form of exclusion. If you have more questions, please feel free to e-mail me.
