I have a skunk(s) somewhere in my yard. My dog has been out twice - once at night and once in the early morning - and has been sprayed by a skunk. What can I do to find the skunk(s) and get it/them removed from my property?

When dealing with skunks it is best to hire a nuisance wildlife control operator to trap and remove the skunk. If you prefer to trap the skunk yourself, you will need to call your local Illinois Department of Natural Resources district wildlife biologist to request a free animal removal permit.
