Duck nest

I have a similar problem with a nesting duck. However, she laid eggs in our huge, unmovable planters which sit about 4 feet off the ground. I'm concerned that when the eggs hatch, the ducklings will not be able to get down to the ground safely. Any suggestions? Thank you!

It's a bit of a jump, but ducklings are resilient little birds. They should all make the jump just fine. If there are any mishaps when they hatch, e-mail me and we'll find a licensed wildlife rehabilitator in your area to patch up any injured ducklings. But I am pretty sure that things will go off without a hitch.
