There's a raccoon in really bad shape by my house. He has an exposed injury to it's back leg. I saw him on tuesday morning drank some water and ate a piece of bread and got lost into the trees, now is laying on the grass. We threw some bread and he's eating again. Please help. I don't know what to do.

Wildlife are sometimes able to recover from fairly substantial injuries on their own. But if the raccoon is severely injured, there are wildlife rehabilitators that may be able to help. This link provides a list of licensed wildlife rehabilitators by county. Good luck. http://dnr.state.il.us/law3/pdfs/rehab_permit.pdf
