One yard squirrel has exhibted odd behaviors for about a month or more. At first he was unsteady on his feet climbing the fence. He would run up to me as soon as I went outside then sit beside me while he ate. Sometimes he would lean way back and nearly fall over. Now he shakes as if he had Parkinsons and falls over on his side while eating - and continues to eat while lying on his side. Is this rabies? Is there anything I can do?

The behaviors you describe could be caused by several diseases. The best course of action would be to call your local wildlife biologist to see what they recommend. I'm not familiar with the laws in Iowa. You can find the biologist in your area at: http://www.iowadnr.gov/wildlife/files/mbiolst.html
