Last week I found 11 dead sparow. Today I found 4 I noticed the heads was was gone on all 4 of the birds. I feed the birds in the front yard the same food in the back. but i have not found any dead birds in the front.Only in the back yard .Why are the birds dying ?

Is there more vegetation in the backyard than in the front yard? Cats often remove the heads of birds. And cats will also use the cover of a bush or other vegetation near bird feeders in order to get close enough to catch the birds.
