What is wrong with the squirrel in my yard? Her one foot has rotted off, another appears to be rotting & another looks smashed. Can she be helped or should be euthanized to avoid extreme suffering? Presently she is able to eat but do not know for how much longer without the use of her front feet.

I do not know if this squirrel is sick or was injured by a vehicle. Either way, it sounds like the injury is severe and that euthanasia would be the most humane route. I would contact a biologist with the Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources for advice on how to legally help the squirrel: http://www.dcnr.state.pa.us/discoverdcnr/ataglance/contactdcnr/index.htm
